
Sydney's Sausage Queen
Sydney Sausage Queen Chrissy Flanagan’s zest to create the tastiest artisan sausages has enabled her to win the title for the best “Sausage Dog” in Chur Burger’s sausage frenzy. This presented her with the requirement of high quality machinery to rise to the challenge and meet the demand for production of her outstanding sausages.
Chrissy was recommend to contact Viking Food Solutions as, “I was told your quality…is superior to others!”
After an initial consultation with the Viking Team into her plans and requirements, Chrissy decided on a Viking 30kg Sausage Filler, Viking Vacuum Packer and 60kg Mixer Mincer. Viking also supplied custom designed Sausage Trolleys to allow the product to be transported from the processing area into the cool room.
All this needed to be supplied in a tight time line, Viking was to arrange the equipment to be delivered and installed by qualified Viking employee, Nathan Finch. This was completed successfully and the first batch of gourmet Sausages were produced on 10/3/16.
Chrissy’s comments were, “My butcher also asked me to pass on to you that the vac packer is the most beautiful machine he has ever used. He’s positively enchanted by the soft air function, which has solved a problem we were having with the ends being squeezed open, even in adjustable machines. So thanks, and congratulations on the quality product!”
